A few weeks ago the kids had a random Tuesday off of school & Aaron was off school also so we went as a family to the Sweets candy factory for a tour. It was free & a lot of fun. They showed us how to make a lot of different things. My favorite thing to watch was how they make salt water taffy.
We couldn't take our camera in, but here are a couple pics of before. Reina was not a fan of the hairnet she had to wear, but once they started giving her samples of candy, she decided it was worth keeping it on. After the tour, we went to their candy store where you can sample anything they have. Neither Aaron or I had ever had an orange stick. They were so good, we took a couple home. It was a fun family outing.
