Halloween Day

For Halloween at school, I thought Taryns Ariel costume would be too hard play in, so she decided to be an army woman instead.  So cute. Here she is as Ariel for the ward party.

Woody, Witch, Dave the primerlinian, Care Bear, Ariel
 Izaiah as Woody.
My vampire child who got the 2010 most costume award for a chicken, mickey mouse and a care bear all in the same year.  She has a whole bucket of  hand me down costumes to choose from.  Halloween was actually on Sunday this year, but since we live in Utah, it is celebrated on Saturday.  I was so excited to take the kids trick-or-treating in a neighborhood, but it was POURING rain.  We ended up going to the mall briefly where it was PACKED.  So then we decided to take a break and go with Amy, Chris and Noah to Red Robin for dinner since it was raining so hard.  When we got there, we had the BEST waiter who let us know that it was free kids meal night for trick-or-treating, Yeah!  We put the kids at the table next to us, and Reina slept the WHOLE time.  It was so much fun.  When we got out of dinner, the rain had stopped so we went to a few houses for candy.  I was so bummed early in the evening when the rain started, but it turned out to be a GREAT night!

16 hours? Oh my goodness. Well, at least everyone is safe. Hopefully it won't be so crazy on the return trip. Have fun!
