Traditions

This little Halloween sleeper and blanket have been a tradition in our house. All of my babies have worn it around this time of year, and I love it! It is 6-9 month size, but still fits Reina even though she is 12 months. Isn't it cute?
Here is Kylie who requested that I take her picture with the blocks she built. These Halloween tights are her favorite lately. I love them too. I bought them at the semi-annual gymboree sale. That is really the ONLY time I shop there. They are super thick for warmth, and only cost me $0.99! That is why I never buy at second hand stores even when we are on a budget. I buy all of my kids clothes new (or gladly accept free hand me downs), for less than I could buy at a second hand store. Bargain hunting is so worth it. I bought all of thier Halloween costumes after Halloween last year, for a total of $6. Now it feels great to not have to worry about getting ready for Sat, we just had to pull it out of storage :) I will do the same after Halloween this year!

You're such a smart, bargain-shopping mama. But how do you know what they want to be a whole year in advance?! Jace just became totally obsessed with Spider-man a few months ago and there's no way he'd be anything else for Halloween (I take that back, now he's talking about Superman) See what I mean, you never know what they're going to insist on being when Halloween rolls around. Maybe my children are a bit more stubborn than yours =o).
