Toe Trauma

Friday evening Aaron was putting new training wheels on Kylies bike. Taryn opened the front door to look, and it started to close by itself. Well, there is metal all along the bottom of the door and it went right over her big toe slicing the nail, pulling it back and cutting the top of her toe too. We took her to the E.R, and luckily she avoided stitches. They cleaned it and wrapped it really well. She was so brave. This is her 2nd trip to the E.R in her whole life, and the other one was for her toe too. When she was 6wks old she wouldn't stop screaming which I thought was just a gassy & fussy newborn. I went to give her a bath that night, and one of my hairs was wrapped around 2 of her little toes. They said if I had waited until morning, they would have most likely had to amputate it. Anyways, I am glad she is ok and was such a brave girl at the hospital. She was even cracking jokes to the staff. We all know how shy my kids are, ha!

Yesterday I was so frustrated. Kylie wanted to play one of Masons DS games on My DS. Yes people I have a DS for brainage so my stay at home mom brain doesn't turn to mush. I went into Masons room to get a game from his case. When I picked up his case the whole thing was empty. No DS. NO Games. I have searched his room up and down, and they are not there. It makes me sick. I am not sure if they were stolen or what. Mason has been known to lose a lot of things, but he never takes everything out of his case. Such a bummer. I am more distraght about it than he is. We can't afford to replace it, and it is about $500 worth of stuff. I really hope it shows up, and I know like my parents used to say it can't get up and walk out of here, but I don't get where it could be. So upsetting.

Ouch.. Poor girl. but what a brave little girl you have. The DS thing has happened to brayden, and it makes me sick to think that it is gone.Kids just don't ever like to put things but where they belong. But we did end up finding it. I hope that you find the DS and that it didn't get stolen.
